We are going up to NY in June and want to see Ave Q. Are seats that are closer to the stage yet far off the aisle better then seats close to the aisle but farther back?
thank you in advance for the advice.
I think this comes down to personal preference. The theatre is relatively small, so you won't miss anything no matter where you sit. I personally prefer to be more central rather than off to the side, but it's up to you. Have fun!

It doesn't REALLY matter, because there is a TV on both sides, and everything happens equally all over. Youi will see fine wherever you go. Nothing happens in the aisles anyway!
My personal preference is to be more near to the actors...so I say, go for the front.
ive seen Q twice and i must say there are NO bad seats. ive been on orch level and in the top level, and i loved it both times. if you get the choice...try and get first 10 rows towards the middle. itll be worth it

my first time at Q i sat row E out toward the right hand side of the orch..maybe 3 or 4 seats in from the outside and my view was fine. The Golden is very small...even the outside orch seats are very good. For Q, id rather be closer than farther away so you can see all the facial expressions and puppet work.
