I'd like to go see avenue q, but obviously don't want to spend a ton of money on tickets. i'm also not standing outside for the lottery. does anyone knwo of another way to get cheaper tickets for the show? has it appeared on the TKTS board at all? or has anyone seen, or have 2fers for it? just wondering. thanks for the help.
NO. There are no discounts and it is mostly sold out.
Good luck to you.

you could get mezzanine tickets...they are like 46$ or something around there
I disagree with the "mostly sold out". It's the middle winter. Nothing (except for Wicked, and even that isn't hard to get day of tickets for) is mostly sold out.
GA,
They asked about discounts. There are none. The best advice is the lottery or mezz at 47 a ticket.
definitely go for the rear mezz tix. they are really good seats since the theatre is so small. i've sat there a couple of times. enjoy!
I haven't seen "Avenue Q" from the rear mezz-I was in the orchestra both times-but I saw the theatre's previous tenant, "The Goat" from the rear mezz. The seats are great. You have perfect view of the stage. Doesn't the theatre also have tix in the way back of the mezz for $25?

they haven't been sold out this week.
tried lotto yesterday and lost then bought the 46$ seats which they had many left of at 6pm.
shouldn't be a problem.
I sat in the rear mezzanine when I saw the show in August, the view was perfect. Was got me mad was that we were sitting in row C, where the seats are $96, RIGHT in front of row D, where the seats are $46. Oh well, it was well worth it.
And if you can, get tickets now if you're planning on going before January 30th. Don't miss John Tartaglia!!!
Ah, I love that man.
And by the way...is Barret taking over after John leaves? I never did find that out...
Barrett Foa will begin as Princeton and Rod on February 1.
Oh good. Barret is awesome.
yea, its definitely not sold out.. go on telecharge and just get mezz. seats
