Add "Maison des Lunes" from BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. If there was ever an example of a set-and-costume change song...
Every song in FOOTLOOSE that wasn't in the movie, especially that awful rap number and the Reverend's eleven o'clock monstrosity--I blocked out the titles.
Oh my God, I totally forgot about the rap number in Footloose until you posted that. It is definitely "awesomely bad"---Jeremy Kushnier talking about throwing a party in his pants always made me laugh hysterically. Most of that show was awesomely bad, but great fun nonetheless.
I also second "Another Pyramid" from Aida. First time I saw the show I burst out laughing at that number because the whole thing reminded me of the Backstreet Boys.
I think all of the songs in The Wedding Singer can be classified as "awesomely bad." The whole show is awesomely bad, but in a good way.
EDIT: Can I add "What You Own" as done in the RENT movie? Adam's mullet is a sight to behold, and I love how Anthony is on the roof having a non-phone conversation with Alexi Darling by shouting his lines into thin air.

Hehe. Wow. Am I the only one who actually likes the song Something Bad, and thinks it is a perfectly fine, and even normal song in Wicked?
That being said, Sentimental Man has recently made it to the "awesomely bad" song list for me.
I also second Move That Thang. It was funny for the first 15 seconds I ever heard it.
For RENT, I'd have to add Your Eyes. I've always felt it was a rather anti-climactic song for Roger to finally write after the whole show. Beautiful, touching thing, but the lyrics...? I suppose this may have been the point a bit, though.
And lastly, for now, Astonishing from Little Women. Come to think of it, a lot of the show makes this list for me. I love the cast recording, but some of the songs, Astonishing included, are just...awesomely bad. That being said, I love the song.

"Wonderful" and "Something Bad" from Wicked - they are simply boring, and the the lyrics are, uhm, cheesy.
"I Should Tell You" and "Santa Fe" and all of the Mom's Messages from Rent - No offense, but Santa Fe is a weird song, and in "I Should Tell You" they're repeating the same stuff..
"Springtime For Hitler" from The Producers - I didn't like the song or... lets put it this way, it didn't fit for me.
Basically, in Miss. Saigon, anything Ellen sings - especially "Now That I've Met Her" - is sorta, pointless. Except "I Still Believe" - that's an awesome song!
"Another Pyramid" and "How I know You" from Aida - for the 1st one, there's no point to the song, and the 2nd one... I just don't like the lyrics...

um the tumor song from "in my life"
Brooklyn has a couple songs that make me reach quickly for the next button on my ipod. I'm surprised no one has mentioned them yet...
"Magic Man" has some awesomely bad lyrics and a vocal part that seems to drag. And then to top it off, they actually reprise the song! "Christmas Makes Me Cry" gets on my nerves, mostly because of the shrieked "MOMMY!" at the end.
I also have to agree with "Something Bad" and "Sentimental Man" from Wicked. I get that they have a point, but Schwartz could have written much more interesting songs to show the point. These two seem to drag on and drag on...
"Another Pyramid" from Aida is also awesomely bad. Sure, it may add to the story, but it's just not a good song.
I have to agree that the rap from footloose is definitely THE WORST Song in any Broadway show ever!

My picks:
"Raven" Brooklyn
"The Heart Behind These Hands" Brooklyn
"Defying Gravity" Wicked
"Without You" Rent (The lyrics make absolutely no sense to me)
Let the flame war begin.
"Murder, Murder" from Jekyll & Hyde is just brutal.
I have to say - so many of you are crazy for your selections. Some of you are picking some of the best songs from shows.
But I have to agree on some..
"Move That Thang" From The Wedding Singer
"Chow Down" Lion King - not to mention others from Lion King
some from Jekyll and Hyde...
there are others but I cant't list them now
Now I Have Everything from Fiddler. It's just so terrible. I had the divine pleasure of singing it once upon a time...
And I completely agree with the rap number in Footloose.
"A Real Nice Clambake" from CAROUSEL
"You're My Little Chu-Chi Face" from CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG" (I'm just embarrassed typing the title!)
Everyone's Who's "Who's Who"" and "Postage Stamp Pricipality" and "Wedding of the Year" from HAPPY HUNTING
"Hurry Back", "Fasten Your Seat Belts", and "The Best Night of My Life" from APPLAUSE
"When I'm Being Born Again" from ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER
The entire score of COCO
"Neat to Be a Newsboy" from WORKING
Any song with the collaboration of ALW and Tim Rice.
Most Frank Wildhorn songs- that man has definately mastered the concept of the climactic key change- like Murder, Murder, Facade, The Riddle, generally all his big chorus numbers.
A lot of Bright Lights, Big City, even though I like it a lot.

Murder, Murder always tops my list. I can handle your Shipoopis, but this Wildhorn sh*t is intolerable! And some of those Batman demos that were posted here a while back were pretty ungodly.
I really enjoy listening to John Hickok, but "Another Pyramid" is sooooooo 90's boy band-ish!! Same with "Like Father, Like Son", though I still adore it~
Anything from Two Gentlemen of Verona! its soooo badly written and lyricized (is that a word) but its still awsome!

I love "Wonderful" from Wicked. I just love it! I would kill to see Dick Van Dyke play The Wizard!
Don't get me wrong. I love RENT. RENT got me into Broadway. On the other hand, "Your Eyes" has to be the worst song ever. I mean, okay, Larson was supposedly trying to make it sound like Roger wrote it, but if Roger spent a year on it, don't you think it would have come out a little better?!
It seems like they should have just kept "Her Or Me" in Saigon, even if it makes Ellen more witchy.
