First listen of "Right This Way" and "Nobody." Both sound GORGEOUS.

"Nobody" sounds great.
Also, is it common for a cast recording cover art to be different from the design on their Playbill? This one looks grittier.
That is the new artwork.

I don't think I can wait for Welcome Home to be released. That song is truly sensational.

The guy playing the trumpet on the cover art is not in the show, which I think is very disrespectful to the actual actor. How hard is it to get a quick picture of the guy in costume?

Wow that song ("Nobody"
is really poorly crafted and inert. Practically one chord for the whole song. Zzzzzzzzzzz,
Saw the show at the end of April and really had a good time, thanks for posting the link. I will definitely be buying the cast recording.

Bump. Cast recording is now out and what I've heard so far sounds fabulous! Enjoy!

Should I assume everyone knows ''Bandstand'' is doing a CD signing on Friday, June 23, at 4:30 p.m. at Barnes & Noble, 86th St. and Lexington Ave., NYC? Creators Richard Oberacker and Robert Taylor will be there, along with Laura Osnes, Corey Cott and Co., who'll perform some of the songs. This is a wristbanded event. Priority seating with CD purchase from this Barnes & Noble, beginning at 9 a.m. on June 23. Cast will sign CD only; no other memorabilia.

Really enjoying the score. It's fairly homogenous Big Band music but that's ok, not every score has to serve up the variety of a HAMILTON or GREAT COMET. And it's all very 40s. The cast and band both sound amazing!

"Hey, Subterranean Homesick Blues is only two chords. Sometimes melodic complexity is sacrificed to add more punch to the lyrics.

Okay I don't mean to complain but I'm sad this isn't available on Apple Music!! I woke up this morning so excited. No luck
Just strange because essentially all of the other shows from this season are available on there.
I can't stop listening. So happy to finally have something other than my memory and youtube videos of press stuff.
What I really love is that I can draw such a distinction now between the jazz/swing music ("You Deserve It"
, the more MGM type songs ("This Is Life"
, and the traditional musical theater songs ("Donny Novitski"
. And YET, they are all cohesive.
I feel like this album will bring a lot more fans into the fold.
where can you download it? Its not on iTunes.

I think the Tony performance really helped them, would love to see it have a good run.
The GMA performance was a lot of fun too. It seems like a show you have to at least see a little bit of to get into, since there seems to be such a heavy dance element.
