There was a drug perveyor small role before.
And the priest is gone also.

Sounds like a chamber piece now.

CurtainPullDowner, the priest character is not gone. He's now named Father Mike.

There's no "ensemble," per say. There are seven principals (two of whom are the adults) and seven other students at the boarding school, so the cast is a total of fourteen actors, not counting offstage swings.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

I hope they still have the Priest's songs. Absolution, Cross, Confession are great. He's such a frustrating character. he is the establishment in the show. They need him.

"Cross" and "God Don't Make No Trash" are the two pivotal songs. They serve as perfect foils of each other. "God Don't Make..." solidifies Peter's future while "Cross" solidifies Jason's.

Without those two songs, the central theme of Bare doesn't exist.

"I shall stay until the wind changes."
