Jason should be "pretty"--I don't think Peter should be one way o the other. It would make more sense that their relationship isn't iopen if he's not, in some ways.

Wedding Bells is a horrible opening for an Act, and plays badly on stage I think. I do like Happy Birthday Bitch though :P

BARE: A Pop Opera

Please come support our production. We have an AMAZING cast of singers, and we are proudly rockin' the2004/7 version of the show that we all grew to love!

The White Plains Performing Arts Center (WPPAC) and Harrison Summer Theatre will present the Westchester Regional Premiere of this version of the musical BARE: A Pop Opera from July 26-28, 2013.

BARE: A Pop Opera is directed by Jeremy Quinn with musical direction by Stephen Ferri, choreography by Lexie Fennell Frare and lighting design by Jamie Roderick.

The cast includes Travis Amiel, Richie Barrella, Sarah-Teresa Brown, David Cronin, Colin Earyes, Kaitlin Ferrara, Natalia Fogarty, Kerri George, Terri-Ann Gordon, Aaron Michael Krueger, Darian Marchetto, Kurt McMannus, Triona O'Callaghan, Paulette Oliva, Thomas Oliverio, Sydney Parra, Analise Rios, Adam Salazar, Stephanie Savino, Melissa Trainor, and Adam Welsh.

Bare - A contemporary rock musical, BARE follows a group of teens wrestling with issues of identity, sexuality, and religion at a co-ed Catholic boarding school. Provocative, raw, and unyielding in its exploration of how today's generation navigates the tightrope between adolescence and adulthood, BARE examines the consequences of baring a soul-or hiding it from those who matter most. Music by Damon Intrabartolo and Book and Lyrics by Jon Hartmere.

BARE: A Pop Opera will be live on stage July 26-28, 2013 (Friday & Saturday evenings at 8PM; Sunday at 7PM).

To Purchase Tickets: call 914.328.1600 or order online at www.wppac.com or visit the WPPAC Box Office at 11 City Place, White Plains, NY 10601. For Group Sales, please call 914.328.1600. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students (22 and under).

Was it really necessary to bump up two threads related to this with the same info?

Thank goodness Millie is here to police the message boards. Mille you provide a valuable service and we are glad that you are here to educate all on message board decorum! Keep up the important work!

It was a question, bwaykids611. And I'm very interested in hearing your answer considering you've only joined three days ago and have posted nothing but Bare-related posts. Are you one of the shills who joined just to shamelessly promote this production?

I've seen at least three or four posts with the same exact information about this production. And if you read one of your posts, ClydeBarrow calls the poster a shill who has done nothing but promote the production.

If you want your production to be successful, clogging up a message board isn't what's going to sell tickets.

I thought the same thing, Millie. (On both accounts.)

Bwaykid: Interesting that someone joined a BROADWAY site to discuss a theater camp production.

You realize it's very off-putting when you constantly post to shill your crap? People are going to be less inclined to see your show when all you've come to do on this board is talk about YOUR production. Plus we don't need this brought up on an old ass thread about people wanting to talk about the original production.

Dude, you need to consult a dictionary. I'm hardly a shill. Clearly I'm in the production and have not made any effort to hide that. What's off-putting is being attacked by you for no good reason. This message board is filled with people selling playbills or obsessing about Alice Ripley's propensity to sing sharp notes and not play 8 shows a week. Many people come to BWW to let others in the community know about shows they are in. I understand that you are entitled to your opinion, but there's really no need to be so unkind. Have a little tact and express your viewpoints like an adult. Frankly, I'd much rather see someone post about their own show than complain about the etiquette of actors at the stage door, as many many people come on here to do. As none of us are superstar actors on here (because frankly, working actors have better things to do than troll BWW threads), you'd think we could be a little more supportive of each others' endeavors rather than being anonymous bullies. Try being nice.

It's one thing to make one post about your show. It is another to revive old threads and post the same advertisement on multiple, various threads. The latter is annoying and gives off an air of desperation.

I'd say that unprovoked bullying outweighs multiple promo postings on the scale of what's inappropriate. However, in looking at ClydeBarrow's profile and comment history, it is pretty clear that unprovoked bullying is his thing. Feel free to call me annoying. ClydeBarrow can feel free to continue harassing people from behind the anonymity of his computer. And I will continue to post about my show, since we can all just do and say whatever we want, apparently.

People find it offensive when anyone continues to post the same crap -- particularly when they are selling something. It becomes even more annoying when that same poster does not contribute in any other way to the boards.

Notice where another (respected) poster started his own thread about a production he is working on. The thread is full of well wishes.

Clyde is hardly in the position to "bully" you. He's telling you he doesn't like what and how you are posting. Neither do I. This isn't an advertising board. It's a board to disucss b'way theater.

It's so nice to live in a day and age where the word "bully" has lost all meaning. You feel as though you can just bandy about these words because someone is calling you out on your sh!t.

Let's not get into people's comment history because while I definitely do provide some snark around here I also provide insightful reviews and advice to others. You came on here for the sole purpose of shilling your show. And I don't need to consult a dictionary because I'm aware of the meaning and others have also called you (or your little friends) out for this.

dramamama was referring to LimelightMike since you just joined the board you wouldn't know who a respected poster would be. You should check out his post to see the proper way to shill.
