re: 'soundtrack' NOT proper term

Amen. It always bothers me when I go into stores and all the Cast Recording are under the "Soundtrack" section... I guess the general population isn't quite as informed as us!!! =P
re: Good High School Musicals

Some ideas for high school musicals (that seem to be done a lot):
Guys and Dolls
Oklahoma!
Bye Bye Birdie
Grease
Music Man
Anything Goes
Me and My Girl
Hello Dolly
Sound of Music
Camelot
Man of La Mancha (if you have a really good baritone)
Les Miserables (the school version seems to be done a lot now)

What a great song. And how awesome was it to see Jonathan Larson singing it on the DVD? I was very excited to see that in the bonus features.

You might be hearing about what was dumped on the northeast today. We had a lot of snow/ice/sleet today. But I really don't think there will be anymore this weekend.

uh... are you serious? cause I live 45 mins east of NYC in CT and it's supposed to be like 40 degrees this weekend. And its only supposed to rain... unless the weather channel is playing games or something.

'01: Bye Bye Birdie (Alice)
'02: Prime Time Crime (co-director)

Fun times...

Yay for Jason Wooten! He's awesome (little plug cause he's an alumni of my college) Anyways, does anyone know if this show is ever coming to Broadway or is just hanging out west in Las Vegas? I would love to see it someday... especially with Jason in it!

Ahhh! I'm so, so, SO excited for this show!!! =) Such a Monty Python fan... epecially Holy Grail!

Millie- From all the things I've read on the show, they are putting in all the songs from the orginal movie, including "Knights of the Round Table"

re: Thanksgiving Day Parade - What did you think of what you saw?
 Nov 27 2004, 03:40:09 PM
Wasn't too impressed with any of the performances... the only one that really got me the least bit excited was hearing the song from Brooklyn... I know the reviews are mixed, but I might have to just see it if only for her voice! As for all the others, they weren't bad, but nothing that got me really excited. Oh well, maybe next year...
Did GCAL just Insult Linda Eder?

I third what was just said in the last two posts =)
re: Highschool Spring Play
 Nov 17 2004, 10:47:24 AM
Our Town is always a high school fav. You can do it with almost no set and minimal costumes. I don't know exactly how many people are in it, it is a rather large cast for a play though. The added bonus of Our Town is of course many people know it, so you'll get a great turn out.
