Hey,

Just wondering... such a hot sold out show.. why are seats so cheap right now on stubhub... am i missing something?

As the above poster said, scalpers. They took a risk on buying up blocks of tickets, and when they didn't sell at inflated prices on stubhub/other reselling platforms, they had to cut the prices drastically the day-of in order to recoup some of the cost of the original ticket. The same thing happened with Bette Midler's last couple weeks in her first Hello, Dolly! run.

Thirty tickets still listed on stubhub at 7:50pm, including a dozen in side mezzanine at $19.99 each.

There are a bunch of inflated orchestra prices for tonight (6/11) $800-1100 (pickup).I wonder how low they will go.

Are people paying insane prices for this show?
