I actually have a quick question with regard to seating at the Schoenfeld and BRIDGES. Between C-ORCH Row C and R-ORCH, Row B (on the aisle), which would you guys suggest as 'the better vantage point'? Any insight greatly appreciated. :)

Posted: 2/15/14 at 4:20pmThere isn't a single projection. The poster who wrote that the set was projected was mistaken and another poster corrected them. There is a very gorgeous photo realistic back drop that is lit to change hue based on time of day. There is another drop that sits in front of it at times that is a star field. Otherwise, all of the scenery is flown in drops or props on wheels that the cast moves to configure the different environments.

Aha. Gotcha.
So, I guess the bigger question is: Is it worth paying premium to sit center, or would the experience just as "magical" (at regular price) if I'm on the aisle stage right? Decisions, decisions.
This is the stuff that keeps me up at night. LOL.

Posted: 2/15/14 at 4:57pmYou don't have to pay premium to get a great seat. I think they will sell you a very decent center orchestra seat for regular prices, even using a discount code. The Bridges of Madison County is not selling well. If you have access to the box office, simply bring a code to the box office and ask the the best they have on any given night. I'm sure you'll get great seats.

I wish I were that easy for me. My availability to get over there, especially in the coming weeks, is rather scant.
With regard to the set, (which I believe I've seen a model of on FB), is there a set of stairs that protrudes out into the house? I'm leaning more towards my Row B option right now. Really aiming to make it as immersive, intimate as possible.
Sorry for all of this inquisitiveness. :)

There is a stairway up from audience right aisle to the stage. The aisle is used 3 times to make entrances and exits.
I am pleased that sales are picking up. This show really does deserve to find its audience.

IMO, this is a good show to see facial expressions. From where I sat the front row (B) did not appear to be too close to the stage, nor did the stage look overly high, but even so, sitting that close you are looking up. So keep that in mind.

Posted: 2/16/14 at 11:43amI think it's better to sit on the orchestra right inner aisle. That's where I sat, and aside from my personal highlight of Pasquale's tuchas walking slowly down the aisle, the kitchen set, where so much happens, it's stage left/house right, so you're looking forward instead of turning your head.
