I have been trying to buy discount tickets to Xanadu and when I go to broadwaybox.com and click on the view seats and buy tickets link it just reloads the same page. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it not working?

Just go to www.broadwayoffers.com and type in the code they provide.

if i call the box office, and they have a seat in say, row D available and then i give them the broadway box code, would they use it for that seat, or will they only use the code for seats past a certain row? When I checked on-line, it kept giving me seats in row Q or something back there, and another show wouldn't seat me any closer than row L.

Most codes are linked not to the "best available" in the house but to "best available" for that promotion.
Row D might be unsold, but the code is probably for something in the rear orchestra or mid to rear mezz.
First, there's an easy way of finding out if the discount seats aren't as good as the regular - see what seat you are offered when choosing 'best seat available' in both the discounted option and the regular option.
Second, the seating program itself considers some seats to be better than others even though the user may not agree (it would offer a seat in the end of a row before a center seat in the following row, for example). You can deal with that by either booking on the phone (telecharge when it comes to Broadwayoffers) or selecting a specific section when booking online.
