Who does everybody want to see in the lead (or other) roles on Broadway this year?
What about this?
Harry Connick Jr as Bob
Kerry O'Malley as Betty
Meredith Patterson as Judy
David Elder as Phil
Meryl Streep as Martha
Alec Baldwin as The General
I love HCJ, and he would be hot in the Blue Skies number. Kerry was the best Betty I've seen. No one beats Meredith Patterson as Judy! I thought David cause it would be so fun to see Peggy and Billy back dancing together again? I loved them dancing together in 42.
Meryl and Alec are just cause it would be fun!
Anyone?
I only agree with Kerry and Meredith, maybe David.

Oh really? No HCJ? I didn't see Pajama Game, but I heard he was great.
Karen Mason as Martha? That's a good idea.
Meredith and David would be a DREAM!!
Saw David Elder do 42nd Street in Philly at the Walnut, and would love to see him again!
Bring back Graham Rowat!
I'm actually looking forward to see who gets put in the broadway production
The usuals who have done it for some time would, I imagine, do the tour as they prob enjoy bringing the show to different places
But I'd like to see some stage favorites to give the show a try
I saw the show last year and really enjoyed it and I would like to see some familiar faces give their own spin on it
And I don't have any in mind at the moment lol

That doesn't mean they would necessarily do the tour.
Gah... Meredith was TERRIBLE last year. The worst part of the show, in my opinion. It's pretty impossible that we will get someone who is as talented as Vera Ellen from the original film, but some of her scenes are the most iconic ones from that movie. Whoever plays Judy at least have to have the charisma for the part. Meredith gave the most boring performance I have seen. Get Jessica Lee Goldyn on board for that part this year.

What about Brian d'Arcy James as Bob
He's done with Shrek by then and he could do a limited run of White Christmas before the play he's in.
i would actually love to see Brian and Jessie Golden in the show!

White Christmas is scheduled to close the day before previews for Time Stands Still, and White Christmas starts previews six days after Brian Darcy James leaves Shrek. There is no way he would be able to do it.

You forget to include previews of White Christmas, and the rehearsal period for his new show. It's not like he can just jump into Time Stands Still on or right before Opening Night.
Brian could do it. He's like a superhero
