Nobody wants to watch you interview Broadway nobodies on YouTube. If one more obnoxious, obese gay man posts on this forum every time he raves about Gypsy and Forbidden Broadway on his webcam, I'll join the "yes on 8" movement.
ouch.. bitter "broadway legends" are angry on bww....
big surprise.
just b/c u dont care
doesnt mean that some 14 y/o in idaho who's in the closet and just bitten by the theater bug is gonna ignore the vids b/c of angry posts by angry out of work queens.
i would have been obsessed if i had something like this to watch when i was say.. 19 and in the closet.
welcome to 2009.

Who typed your post, Stevie Wonder?
Go back to your "closet in Idaho", kid. You ain't ready to play with the big boys yet.
haha
I love you PG2
Good point Channing Doll. And they even touched on that a bit in the interview. And speak for yourself PG2. I enjoyed the interview. These two guys are out there doing their thing. I don't know who you are or what you do but if you aren't doing 1/2 of what these two guys are doing, you have no room to talk. And even if you are, you still don't. JMO

Where is this idea coming from that you can't make fun of someone or dislike what they're doing unless you're doing (or have attempted to do the same)? I make fun of American Idol trainwrecks even though I've never auditioned for the show, and I make fun of YouTube interviews between star-struck theatre queens and no-name Broadway actors even though I've never propped up my webcam on a table, lobbed some softball questions at a C-lister and then constantly posted and bumped threads on BWW about it.
There is a line between making fun of people and being nasty. Neither was warranted in this thread. The op simply posted/shared an interview that he did with an actor. Doesn't matter if he is not the most popular actor on Broadway, he is a working actor. if you don't like the interview, you don't have to be nasty about it. Maybe try supporting these actors instead of bashing them.

I think the interview was great! I also realize that MGC Productions is just starting out, and I think it's pretty impressive that they can get interviews with anyone on Broadway. I'm sure as they grow they'll be able to get even bigger names.
I really think that people get nastier on this board every day, and I don't understand it. I don't agree with a lot of things written here, but I don't feel the need to be mean to people that I don't even know. I'm sorry, PG2 that you are so insecure that you feel you need to bash others to make yourself feel good. And I think your comment about Prop 8 was downright uncalled for. Grow up.

I'm sorry, but you guys are bitching about PG2... because you think he was being bitchy? PG2, I think you're hysterical. What is the point of defending a less-than-one-week-old sock puppet? Just for the thrill of making a pointlessly stupid argument?
All of the complainers have been on this board for only a couple of months.
What's with all the bitchy newbies?

I have actually been reading this board for a long time and just decided to join this summer. So, I wouldn't really consider myself a newbie.
As for the subject at hand, I don't care how long MGC has been on this board. They are trying to do something positive and are being met with negativity here. I think it's very unfortunate that just because they are new and aren't doing interviews with your favorite performer, they are ridiculed. I thought the theatre community was more open minded and welcoming than this. It's a shame.

They're a shill. To constantly post (exclusively) to pimp your web show is shameful, and will elicit a negative response no-name interviewee or not.

Actually, a shill is when you pretend to be someone else to promote your show. MGC is openly promoting their own show, and good for them for doing it. It is so hard to make it in this city and they are giving it a good hard try. I would come on here and promote a show I was doing, too. You have to get the word out if you want to succeed. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
I would come on here and promote a show I was doing, too.
But at least you would properly capitalize and punctuate.
PiraguaGuy2,
Why does it say you joined on 10/10/08?
Besides, who said I was talking about you?
And this shilling isn't anywhere near as bad as The Ryan O'Connor Show.
i would like to thank everyone who has said nice things on bww.
and for those of you who say that i am interviewing 'broadway no-bodies';
the people that i have interviewed are working actors, tony nominees, and people who care about making a difference in the world. especially for the broadway community. so people, like you, can have sites like bww.
in the next few weeks, our show has: billy porter, eden espinosa, sherry vine, as well as nancy anderson and patina miller .
if you don't like them or the show, then you don't have to watch.
peace
