I was one of the lucky ( and older ) ones who saw both Richard Kiley and Brian Stokes Mitchell in the role. Sorry, but Richard Kiley is still the quintessential Don Quijote to me - Brian Stokes Mitchell's wonderful voice nothwithstanding. Richard's portrayal was so moving and so powerful that I was so awed all throughout ( and teary-eyed) the performance. Stokes's acting left me rather unmoved.
Man of La Mancha is one of my favourites from musical theatre.

Kangaroo - buy a copy of the book "The Impossible Musical" and read the original script for the television production that was written before they decided to musicalize it - then tell me it has no plot. It is one of the finest stories ever told on stage.
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!"
Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!
She's going to be in the upcoming revival of "Sweet Charity" at the Hirschfeld -- everyone says she's going to be incredible. I THINK she's playing Nickie but I could be completely wrong.
<< Does anyone know Natascia Diaz? What is she like? >>
She is absolutely stunning and a sweetheart !!! Met her at Bryant Park during the MOLM run, and then became friendly with her during all of our MOLM visits. She is so sweet !! Always took the time to speak with us, even when she was running off to auditions ! Cant wait to see her again in "Sweet Charity" !
