Posted: 1/8/04 at 11:54pmUm.... to the best of my knowledge Barrymore's doesn't have a private backroom (unless there's a "party room" in the back of the diningroom)... There's just the bar area on one side and the diningroom area on the other side. It's a nice place :)
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...

Brava, Ifitfloats! You nailed my POV so precisely, it's uncanny. I fear the role of the spouse at a class reunion. There will be adventures shared, I will know nada. And instead of the trophy wife/hubby, I'll be the spinster/geek d'un age certain at the bar, swilling cheap bourbon and trying to chat up the bartender, who wishes he were hoofin' in 42nd street. The board luminaries are a glamorous and intimidating lot. So if the rest of us new folk show up ... be kind.
