I recently had the great pleasure of interviewing actress Joy Franz, who can currently been seen as the Dowager Empress in the national tour of Anastasia. I got to talk to her about the show as well as working with legends like Bob Fosse, Hal Prince, Stephen Sondheim, and Jerry Lewis.

I saw the show in Chicago last week and got to meet Joy afterwards at the stage door. She is so sweet and does an incredible job as the Dowager Empress. Having seen Penny Fuller in the role on Broadway a few days earlier, I didn't think anyone else could measure up to her but Joy was terrific.
