Anneliese was considered for Ariel (though I don't think she actually auditioned,) but the creative team felt her voice was a bit too powerful and mature for it. They wanted more of a young, quaint soprano (which is why they went with Sierra Boggess.)
Aw, I liked that. She comes off really well, she's beautiful and has a great voice. Good for her!
wow. when i first heard she was gonna be belle, i didn't think it would work but it totally does. she sounds amazing. i wish i could see her now. how old is she?
22 Suit, and that's very interesting somethingwicked, I still would like to see her take on Ariel anyway.
Wow, I knew she could sing...but I didn't expect that! Go her.
The very last verse of change in me - she sounds exactly like Judy Garland
She does! Lucky girl
It's never a bad thing to sound like Judy Garland!
Nope not at all!

I LOVE her! She seems so sweet! & she sounds exactly like Paige O'Hara, voice of Belle in the B&tB film.

GO AWAY LIZZYA9!
I had to do a double take. She's amazing. I do wish she was a little bit more natural in the video though, but on the other hand, she was very articulate and well spoken.
They should have had her replace Sutton after Beauty closed. I'd hate to see her fall into the Wicked. That show is exhausting to perform as Elphaba. Keep her on Broadway though. Write a show for her.
SHES AMAZING KILLER VOICE, AMAZING ACTING REALLY BRINGS A LOT TO THE ROLE I LOVED HER
WHY ARE YOU YELLING?
because when lizzya9 is around...YOU NEED TO.
I was talking to wicked4life. But, I saw nothing wrong with what lizzy posted.
I do wish she was a little bit more natural in the video
Really? I thought she was probably the most natural of any performer in a video I've seen...I'd be interested to hear your take.
Wow! I'm soo impressed! She sounds fantastic! I'd like to see her in a role with a little more substance (nothing against BATB)I'd love to see her Evita. This is a girl I could be obsessed with :)
Double post (my first ever!)
There are a lot of great roles from revivals I could see her in - but would love to see her do something original.
I never would have guessed she had that much talent from watching That's So Raven.
someone already mentioned this but no one said anything about it...
that thing she does with curling her lips in while she sings is SO distracting. now im not knocking her talent or performance, but thats just...i dunno? ive never heard of ANY vocal technique where people do that....i just seems incorreect based on everything my vocal coach has told me....i dunno....it got on my nerves...anyone else?
and another thing, her belle never smiled, not once...at least in the videos...i dunno. she seemed a little angry. a change in me should be a happy song, not a sad one...?
i dont know. i dont mean to be negative...just bringing up topics for discussion :)
id love to head on down to the lunt-fontainne to see her. she looks quite amazing. especially for someone her age. I met her at a concert she did in orange county, and she was just sweet as pie...
good luck to her.
The very first clip has her smiling and laughing, no?
And A Change in Me has many emotions - happy, full of resolve, determination, and self actualization.
I have to agree with Craig, "A Change in Me" isn't all happy smiley all the time, my interpretation of the song was more of the fact that the Beast has changed her and that song is her real understanding of just how much he has. I do agree that perhaps Belle is happy about that but it isn't just carefree, and the songs shown in the clips aren't exactly happy times for Belle, with the exception of course of "Belle".
