She's leaving WICKED this weekend...certainly a sad moment. If anyone has seen her performances lately or is going to see her final performance tomorrow (Sunday) night, post reviews/stories here!

not just JLT is leaving, CAROLE SHELLEY is leaving as well, one of the last original members to leave. george hearn is leaving as well, right?

Aw, JLT was absolutely amazing in the role. I hope she does something new soon! I'll miss her.

I ADORE Jen!!! She is my favorite Glinda. I have a lot of friends there right now and I wish that I could be there more than anything but I have to be a real adult and work (it's such a shock to my system). Oh well, I'm sure the show will be tearful and amazing

Carole is AMAZING!!! The first time I saw her I didn't want to clap for her cause I hated the character so much. That's how much she made be believe she was the character. I think I ended up clapping for her the most cause she was SO phenomenal! Such an amazing character actress. There aren't many left:/
What is your dream role?
My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!

Dang. I'm more torn up over this than Idina leaving. re: BYE JLT! Even if you did not like her as Glinda, I think no one can deny that Jennifer is beyond a stunning performer. She took the role many levels beyond Kristen, and brought tears of laughter, sadness, and joy to many people. She gave it her all, and her hard work really showed. God speed Jennifer. I know you'll shine in whatever God leads you to after Wicked. re: BYE JLT!

Well, if it's any consolation, I think Carole will be in "Bewitched". I think I it was her in the preview of the movie.

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

I saw JLT back in Summer of 04 a month and a day to the day she took over for Cheno and she was amazing. I met her at the stage door and I had been apart of a letter campaign organized by me sending letters from members of Glitter, the Cheno fan club and another group to her welcoming her to Wicked. This is how it went down:

Me- You were amazing.
JLT- Thank you.
Me- Do you remember welcome letters?
JLT- Yes? Why? Wait. Was that you?
:I shake my head:
JLT- Omg! :she hugs me: I loved them... they made me feel so good.
Me- Im so glad, you're amazing.
JLT- Thank you so much for those. So you're from Glitter.
Me- Yes, we all love you.
JLT- Aww, well I love Glitter.

She was so nice and amazing... she will be sorely missed by me.. and Megan Hilty should know she has big shoes to fill.

I would give my left nut just to hear Britney Spears' rendition of "Defying Gravity". My left nut would probably burst anyway from me laughing so hard.

Britney actually has a halfway-decent voice when she drops that bubblegum whine and sings in head voice. Sadly, however, that doesn't cut it for Wicked.

True. But Im scared to hear her sing any Wicked song. I heard she bought 10 copies of the CD and gave them as X-mas gifts
