I already have (and have had) tickets for Mary Poppins in January, but probably am going to rush something (SA or Drowsy probably) over Winter Break. :) YAY for strike being over!

From Broadway.com...

"Good news! The stagehands strike that has shut down much of Broadway for the past few weeks has been resolved.
ALL SHOWS will be up-and-running on their regular schedules in time for the evening performances on Thursday, November 29."

I guess all the lights will officially be back on tomorrow!

Next show is THE HOMECOMING . I'm dying to see THE SEAFARER and the new ACL cast members. Then for my 21st on 12/15 I am going to see CYRANO and THE HOMECOMING again. My dad bought me the opening night ticket.

But on the 14th I'm doing the 'DU onstage!!! So freaking excited!!!

Just for reference...

FRANKENSTEIN (Off-Broadawy) on 11.30.07
CYRANO de BERGERAC on 12.15.07
THE LION KING on 01.10.08
THE LITTLE MERMAID on 01.30.08
SUNDAY in the PARK with GEORGE on 04.19.08

I was screwed out of seeing FARNSWORTH and ROCK 'n' ROLL, so in place of those, I hope to see IS HE DEAD? and NOVEMBER in December or January, and I'm hoping to book tix to PASSING STRANGE, A CATERED AFFAIR and GYPSY ... juuuuuuust as soon as I pay-off my VISA bill, of course! Pygmalion. And that's about it for a while. Nothing playing right now interests me in the least...save The Homecoming, but since I just saw it at the run-through, I plan to wait and let them get it settled and locked before I see it again.

Oh thank GOD I can finally stop biting my nails over this!

Coming up for us (I think I have the order and dates of these all correct):

The Little Mermaid 12/5
Cyrano 12/5
The Grinch 12/8
Xanadu 12/8 (3rd time)
Young Frankenstein 12/23

Can't wait!

The Ritz--Saturday (12/1) matinee. I bought the tickets last night before I read that the strike was over. Go figure.

Thinking of another trip to "Xanadu" on January 10 or 11...but the lack of strike definitely opens up my options. Very curious about "The Homecoming," mostly due to Raul....and I'm old enough to remember the 1973 American Film Theatre version. Can't remember much about the actual quality, just the lead actor's permanent scowl and a lot of yelling.

The Seafarer on Sunday
August: Osage County next Saturday
The Little Mermaid two weeks from Saturday

Probably Is He Dead? somewhere in between.

I have a bunch of off-Broadway plays between now and mid-December (I had booked them a month ago, assuming the strike would go through the first week of December), but my next Broadway shows are THE SEAFARER, THE HOMECOMING, AUGUST:OSAGE COUNTY and CYRANO. I also have to re-book IS HE DEAD?

Limelight Mike ~ Are there not tickets available for the shows you missed due to the strike when you'll be around? Or is there another reason you can't see those?

Little Mermaid next weekend. I'm bringing my nieces.

As for the strike, I'm glad it's over. From the 'Strike Pool' thread, I guessed it'd end on:
>Tuesday, 11/27

Off by one day. Dangit.

I AM going to TLM this Saturday night. Managed to find a ticket in Row H of the orchestra this morning before I left for work at 6:30 (odd, because last night when I was looking, there was only horrible seats available).

Anyone else going??

Spring Awakening tonight. Figured not everyone would immediately grab rush tickets, so I managed to get one close to 2PM. I think it'll be a good show to see on this happy night Back to normal...so what's your next show?
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
