I wouldn't believe the email in the original post was from someone actually invovled professionally with the show for a second...and if you believed it, I'm afraid I just don't know what to tell ya...

And lay off Amneris. She's been on this board for quite some time and she has contributed to many, many threads that had nothing to do with Brooklyn. Amneris has been a member of the board for a long time and has posted about a number of shows, as BroadwayGirl107 noted. Amneris would have done herself, and the show, MORE favors by posting her honest opinion and her affiliation early on....we all like to root for shows "our gang" are associated with.

There's at least three, maybe more, Brooklyn fans or wildly eager-but-know-nothing-about-it (huh?) who have registered in just the last day, and they are certainly more suspect. And all they have managed to do, it seems, is harden interest against the show, a feat which took gushing Wicked fans half a year to create. Good going, Brooklyn! LOL!

I'd also like to take this time to ask Mr. Tuttle for permission to put his response in my monologue book. For some sick reason, I think it might work for an audition to nazi theater camp or "Not Without My Daughter" the musical.

Mr Tuttle as the saying goes... featured actors dont want to mess with the broadway legends.

you have to remember dear , it's "the insane" kids who pay big bucks to see the same show 100+ times... the kids that get the word out and start the buzz...the ones who start the fansites, fanclubs... etc etc.. if it weren't for the fans, theater might not be as exciting. Alright, calm down everyone.

First, you wouldn't have a monologue for a musical audition usually.

Second, nazi theatre camp is only held outside of the US, and you don't say monologues in english, and I'm pretty sure that would be hard to translate.
