After watching the rehearsal clip from On Your Toes I'm tempted to make the trip in next Saturday to see the matinee. There are only balcony seats left at City Center. Does any one know what the sight lines are like from up there? Thanks.

if you're in the rear Balcony, it is very, very far and it feels far, the front balcony is still far but is not horrible

I've never sat up there before, so I can't tell you, but I am sitting in the balcony for On Your Toes! As far as I could tell, the show hasn't been on TDF, which is my usual method of getting reasonable tickets for Encores.

I think the sight lines in the theater are good in general, so I'm going to risk it.

Balcony sight lines are fine but it is very far and if it were a play it would be a bit more difficult to stay engaged. Since it's a musical, you should be fine. Unless you're in the first 3 balcony rows, I'd suggest going with the $30 front side balcony seats.

Be wary of the extreme sides. I sat there for one of the My Favorite Broadway concerts, and the view was obstructed.

Dottie, keep in mind this is not a regular theater. its more like a mini radio city or concert hall

Thanks, I've been there before, but not since the renovation. I've been in the mezzanine and orchestra in prior visits. I'm foregoing the trip. Wish I remembered about this a few weeks ago.

I've sat almost exclusively in the balcony and even though it's far, I've enjoyed the shows I saw there so much it didn't matter. I think that if you're that interested in seeing it, you should go and sit in the balcony.
