Barrett Foa And Peter Linz Are Faboo! ;-) And You Can See Them On Avenue Q.

I was so lucky tonight. I met a nice guy at the Q lottery and he said he wanted to see it and if he won he would take me and if I won I would take him. Well he won. It was great. So thank you Gary!
I wanted to see Barrett Foa. Barrett was incredible. I loved his Princeton and he adds a few different dances that are adorable.
Barrett also added some things with Kate that really are more touching if you can believe that.
THE MAN ROCKS! ROCKS. Barrett adds a lot of new things and even though John was incredible and will be missed, Barrett is the perfect person for the role after John.
Another delight. Peter Linz, was in for Brian. Wow. The man really fits in the role. A LONG HAIRED SURFER DUDE BRIAN.
HE WAS GREAT. LOVED HIM. He has a great voice and seemed to have chemistry with Christmas Eve.
Everyone was great as usual tonight.
As always Rick Lyon and Jen Barnhardt were fantastic and very few comment about them. They rocked tonight.
The whole cast did. This was my fifth time and i never get tired of Avenue Q.
Somethings are not only for now.

You are so lucly corine! I am so glad you had fun. Was the lotto packed?
"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

Gary said he got a kick out of how excited i got when we won.
It was packed. Of course i did not win. I only won once.
Barrett was so good. He did something different with Kate and i almost started crying. It was somehow more emotional with him and touching.
I really am impressed with him and the whole cast.
Ave Q is so much fun. I never get tired of it.
It made my month.

Give it a try it is the best 21.75 you could spend.
It really is. Both John and Barrett are incredible.
I liked Barrett's Princeton better and I liked John's Rod better.
They are both excellent.
Also Stephanie is always the best.

I saw it once but i bought tickets in advance. It was great! Are the lotto tickets for the first few rows?

The first row only which is great. And you also must donate to Broadway Cares in those seats.
I gave the last two times. The money goes to help Broadway Cares.
I keep giving to Gary Coleman and he gives me a thumbs up.
It is funny.

Corine, I'm so glad you loved Barrett! Could you give specific examples of what he did that made his performance so touching? (And didn't you love his puppeteering in "If You Were Gay"?)

great i really need to try now! I will give money! question- during the money song- do people actually give money? the one time i went someone put a metrocard in the hat and John seemed surprised.

The Metrocard thing is a scripted joke.

Is the accepting money thing new? I've tried a few times to give actual money, and Natatlie's always refused.

I thought they do take real money, and then give it all to BC/EFA?

re: Barrett Foa And Peter Linz

I gave $0.50. Jordan accepted it. I think you are allowed to give money.

edit: I guess that's it, Emcee.

re: Barrett Foa And Peter Linz

Barrett does a very impressive Princeton. He touched Kate differently then John did and his facial expressions were warmer.
It is hard to explain but I felt that Barrett's Princeton was crazy in love with Kate all through the show. It was a different vibe then John as Princeton.
He also added some different dance moves. His own choreography and i loved it. Cute. What really impressed me is Barrett was not a puppeteer when he signed up for the show. And you could not tell that and this was his first week.
Very impressive as John was a puppeteer for years on Sesame Street.
The man is very talented. He really moved me. I had to fight back tears in the scene when Kate quits. Peter also impressed me. I should not say this but i liked Peter Linz better as Brian then Jordan. It just clicked.
There was something missing without John as Rod but Barrett was really outstanding in everything and this was his first week.
VERY IMPRESSIVE.
I gave $1.00 last time and another tonight.

Thanks, Corine. re: Barrett Foa And Peter Linz

I too loved him as Princeton. He had a real sincerity and endearing quality with the role. And I ADORE his version of Rod. He was such a bitchy queen as Rod, and it was hilarious.

re: Barrett Foa And Peter Linz

Yes. But i still loved John best as Rod.
And i really think Barrett was better as Princeton.
They are both incredible.
Never forget John Tags or i will kill you. re: Barrett Foa And Peter Linz
re: Barrett Foa And Peter Linz
I loved the way John hammed up Rod. But Barrett was excellent just different.
