Well that will be interesting as he is listed to appear from the 30th September to the 14th of October in Melbourne in DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS.
The tatty pink costume shown in one of the earlier photos could be the first act finale Albin dress (original design)- however somewhere along the way someone has gone crazy with additional feathers. The chorus members pictured behind the main actor are NOT wearing original costume designs.

Off-topic: DRS is Production Company right? Did you see Crazy for You?
On-topic: So should I see the show with Allam/Quast or Barrowman/Burke?

There are some great seats available in the next few weeks using the various discount codes on theatremonkey.com, so I'd definitely recommend seeing it before the cast change. Allam/Quast is a dream pairing and I doubt there'll be many better. Allam is such a talented and versatile actor (and Quast isn't too shabby in that dept either), plus PQ's voice is absolutely gorgeous and the chemistry the two have on stage is palpable and touching. Some good supporting performnaces too, esp Jason Pennycooke as Jacob. Not sure how many other cast members might be leaving on the 12th September.
Barrowman/Burke will be a whole different kettle of fish and it will be interesting to see if/how they play Albin & Georges as younger than the traditional castings.

I've never seen two "hot" guys in those roles. It will be interesting to see if a hint of real sex throws the show out of whack.

Barrowman will do a good job of that alone Wildcat, no fear!

boyfromoz2, no I didn't see CRAZY FOR YOU. I liked the original full staging too much to let the Production Company's staging ruin the memory. The opening week press photos were hideous.
Wildcat, it wouldn't be the onstage antics by the two new leads I'd be worried about (La Cage).

But seriously, with those two guys as your dads, how could any lad NOT grow up gay??
