Isn't it weird it took that long for someone to mention Barbara Cook? And Mary Martin for that matter... Norbert and Sherie and Adam are only on three or four cast recordings... It's really crazy to me that musical theater folks would have them at the top of their list...

P.S. Barbara Cook is on a recording of a different Secret Garden

Bernadette Peters tops the list with:
Mack & Mabel
Sunday...
Into the Woods
Song & Dance
Goodbye Girl
Anyone Can Whistle
Annie Get Your Gun
Gypsy
(not to mention 3 solo albums)
Her voice was so unreal up to Sondheim @ Carnegie Hall!
The rest are all pretty close (Lane, Mitchell, Buckley, LuPone, Mazzie, McDonald, Kuhn, Chaplin, Guardino, Lansbury, Andrews) I'm sure there are more that I'm forgetting.

It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story...

Going by Actor, I really have no clue
Composer:
Sondheim, no question.

I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.
