Bat Boy movie?

I know there have been talks of a film version of Bat Boy the Musical directed by John Landis...but it has recently been removed from IMDB. Anyone know what's going on with it?

This is a direct quote from an E-mail I recieved from Bat Boy co-writer, Brian Flemming this afternoon...

"if an "announced" movie takes too long to
get made, IMDb does remove it. The movie is stalled in development/casting/financing right now, and I don't know when it will pull together."

I never knew there were talks about making it into a movie. But it's funny that this was brought up today, because earlier this afternoon I was randomly pondering what a Bat Boy movie would be like.

Bat Boy the Movie is still in the works. It's just a matter of days now. It takes time to carefully cast, finance, and put a precious gem like Bat Boy into production. Keep your fingers crossed!

I've see two different productions of the play and both were GREAT!!! Have ALWAYS said there should be a movie and HIGHLY looking forward to it. HOPE IT HAPPENS!!!!!!!!!!
