i'm excited about this!! :)
You've seen 2 costumes.
The choreographer gives some insight on the new set & choreography.

Robert Jess Roth is directing the tour & Matt West is choreographing. They both held the same post with the Broadway show. I really want to see this!

My friend, Heather Russell, is in this! I wish I had the chance to see it. Too bad I live in the city.
Have tickets for June in Nashville...can't wait.
Who?
None of these names ring a bell.
And your point, MusicSnob?
Merritt David Janes was a wonderful Sweeney in Networks' Sweeney Todd tour.
My point is that I was hoping for at least ONE recognizable name.
Is this a non-equity tour?

It's non-equity...
I auditioned for this...as you can see I wasn't cast....waaaah waaaah (that was my Debbie Downer moment...ahaha)
Sabrina Petra?! I wonder what she's going te be like. I saw her in the Dutch Beauty and the beast and in the search for Evita. Let's say she didn't really convince me there...

I hope they extend past June and that the tour comes to Dallas.

The set looks very interesting, there is a video on the home page...
It would be clutch if this stopped at the Tilles Center on Long Island for a weekend!

Wow, Robert Jess Roth got another job?
Well, the same job, again.

this looks like a massive non-equ production which is exciting.

It's the original direction, just recreated by Sam Scalamoni, who's recreated the original staging EVERYWHERE for the past decade.

I'm seeing it this May and I'm REALLY excited. Merritt was a lovely Sweeney, despite having 'off' comic timing, so I'm curious as to how he'll do in this role.

Any word on what kind of orchestra will be used in this production?

From what the conductor of "The Wizard of Oz" told me, it will be the same size as most NETworks shows. (AKA, not very big).
The 'Wizard of Oz' tour sucks some major ass. We didn't even get the damn backdrop productions. We got an ugly ass black sheet!!
This is my favourite show and film, and I'm not overly excited about this. The one thing it has going for it, is that it is the entire original Broadway creative team.
