This is tough. I know the complete crap that BEAUTY turned into it's final few years, but when it was new and good - it was SO GOOD. It's hard for me to vote against BEAUTY because I remember how flawless it seemed as a child.

PIMPERNEL, however, is a terrifically flawed work that also has a special place in my heart. The score is fantastic.

I guess I'll have to say THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, due to the fact that BEAUTY's reputation was tarnished for me the last few times I saw it. I walked out.
