I was browsing the website and I was wondering if this is an equity tour? I noticed the venues are smaller and mostly smaller cities.

Is this tour's set going to be any different than the other runs?

It's Non-Eq & will be similar to the last US tour.

This tour is non-equity, and rightfully so, since it hasn't been to any of the small towns yet. According to an e-mail that NETworks sent me, it's going to be a brand new never-before-seen production. NETworks is working with the original design team to create all new sets, costumes, props, ect...

I know that Sam Scalamoni, a long time Assistant Director of Beauty around the world, is involved with this production in some way.

^ He's probably a member of the 'original design' team that's involved wit this tour. I'll be seeing it in May, and I'm both excited and worried. NETworks does very well with minimal shows such as RENT, Doyle Sweeney Todd, ect... but when it comes to big productions...they usually take the cheap way out.

I was wondering if these "new costumes and sets" were going to be the David Galo designs that toured the UK and Europe, while the set was "interesting" the costumes were dreadfull. Mind you I thought the original costumes were way over done and looked tacky as a result (espicially the house hold items).

^ It is not going to be a recreation of the AWFUL UK tour. NETworks specifically said it is a brand new never-before-seen production.

For those of you wondering how bad that tour was, take a look at this clip.

Someone who has worked for NETworks before said that they throwing out BS when they say it's an "All New Production". He said that it's going to be sets & costumes from the last US tour with a FEW new pieces. He also said that there will be no automation.
