Why in the world would you give the lady a vocal that she can hardly even belt out anymore? She simply sounds tired.

Perhaps she could have held out that horrible end note in 'Unexpected Song' on the show, teaching the chorus the difference between good breath control and wheezing. Oy.

Lupone would have eaten that cameo for lunch. Someone call Patti next time.
