I am curious what Broadway performer put on the best show you have seen at 54 Below. Please add comment as to why that person was better than other stars you have seen.

It's really hard to rank order performances that I've loved, and I wonder why I should. I mean, it's not a competition or an athletic event where the performances are scored. Can't we just love them for what they are? Having said that, here are some (in no particular order) that I remember really enjoying: The very recent show with Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley; Melissa Errico; Laura Osnes; the Calloway Sisters; and, of course, Patti Lupone who I've seen on more than one occasion. I know there have been more, these are just the ones that come to mind right now.

I really loved Carmen Cusack's 54 Below show. She sang such a diverse array of music from cut songs to classics to her originals to folk/rock. It was amazing that she was able to sing so many genres so effortlessly.

Understood but my point in this is what made this performer better than the others in your opinion. All of the performers there have very good voices so I was wondering what put your favorite over the top. Was it the songs they chose to sing? Was it the stories they told between songs?. Maybe, they had a special guest that evening that was a surprise.

Love Andy Karl and the Altar Boyz reunion concert in 2015! So much energy and loads of fun. I also got to chat with Andy Karl after the show. Such an amazing three show day (mat: If/Then, eve: Wicked, 11:30PM: Altar Boyz reunion concert)

The Dee Snider Broadway/Christmas concert in 2012, when the entire room was headbanging to "Silver Bells" and "The Ballad of Sweeney Todd," remains one of my favorite experiences, at 54 Below or anywhere. Just so crazy, unexpected, and awesome.
At a close second, the recent Adam Pascal & Anthony Rapp: 20 Years of Friendship. For purely sentimental reasons (plus they are both incredible performers), it was so wonderful seeing them perform together again.

Paulo Szot - I have seen three of his shows there (but not, sadly, the most recent one) and they were splendid. Also, the TABOO reunion concert because Boy George was there (but Raul Esparza was, sadly, not).

The Dee Snider Broadway/Christmas concert sounds awesome. I've only seen 2 shows at 54 Below: Anthony Rapp/Adam Pascal as mentioned above and Norm Lewis' Xmas show. I love it there. I love sitting in a bar, sipping a drink, and listening to music. I enjoyed both, but I want to make NL's Xmas show a yearly tradition. I hope he's there again this year. He's so nice. He does a meet and greet after each show in the bar.
