Who do you think will take it?
Martin
Cerveris
Lynch
Young
Strickland
Cumming
Connick Jr.
For me, until I see Drowsy, it will be Cerveris. This is subject to change though.
I think Cerveris will win (and I really enjoyed his performance), but I'd love to see Young walk away with it.
John Lloyd Young will win for delivering such an amazing debut performance! (and if he doesn't I will cry!...not really, but I'll be close to it).
While Michael Cerveris gave quite the performance in Sweeney, there was just something about Young that made me think he will walk away with the honor. Plus Cerveris won two years ago for Assassins and it seems like Tony voters are always looking to give it to someone new :)
I hope John Lloyd Young will. He is amazing in Jersey Boys.

Michael Cerveris has a pretty good shot at getting another Tony.

It's a show down between Young and Cerveris. I have no clue who will win, but I feel if Jersey isn't gonna take Best Musical, Young will definitely get it.
I think John Lloyd Young will win, and deservedly so.
Another vote for John Lloyd Young--the guy is amazing.

sorry to threadjack. Carry on.
HAHA to the Block quote.
Ditto...carry on!
popular-im gonna 'retire' it soon lol. I just loved it because I just met the woman and she's carrying on this convo like we'd known each other for years!! such a sweetheart.
I want Cerveris to get it, and I think he has a shot. Remember how much the Tony Awards in general hate Jukebox Musicals.
Hmm..am I the first person to mention BOB MARTIN who has been getting unqualified raves over at the Marquis?

I loved John in JBoys, but come on, if Michael Cerveris doesn't win it will be a travesty!
John Lloyd Young has my support and prediction! But....Michael was great as well.
Michael Cerveris if there is any goodness in this world. He is certainly most deserving. I haven't seen Tarzan or Drowsy yet...so that COULD change, but I doubt anyone could give a more solid, comanding, and demanding performance than the one Cerveris gives 8 times a week.

I think Patti and Manoel have much better shots...
BOB MARTIN.
Long may he reign.
Admittedly, I haven't seen his competition... Martin still gives a performance that ranks with the best I've seen in a musical EVER. And that includes plenty of Broadway shows and plenty of past Tony winners.
I'll say it again... BOB MARTIN.
