What current Broadway star has the BEST "Annunciation" on stage?
I was randomly thinking about this, when listening to a dialect tape, but would love to hear your thoughts.
I can't really pinpoint anyone specifically.... hmm...
He's not on Broadway right now, but Jesse L. Martin has some of the best diction I've ever heard. Listen to either the OBCR or film soundtrack of RENT. All his ending consonants are sharp and vowels are clear. It's gorgeous. Especially compared to everyone else's on those albums.

Not neccessarily "annunciation" but Aaron Tveit has excellent diction, especially on consonants.
although some might argue that the announcement of Taye and Idina's baby is an Annunciation.
Shbrt is right
"The Annunciation is, in Christianity, the revelation to Mary, the mother of Jesus by the angel Gabriel that she would conceive a child to be born the Son of God. Some Christian churches celebrate this with the Feast of Annunciation on 25 March, which as the Incarnation is nine months before Christmas."

if you're looking for the complete opposite of Raul, a good example is Amy Spanger.
slow vibrato.
Patti Lupone's performance in Anything Goes.
The Forbidden Broadway parody of her turn in Anything Goes is amazing and, judging by the Tony performance, completely dead on. Our Patti has come a long way.
"What's-her-name" (Christine Andreas???)in The Scarlet Pimpernel. I wouldn't even call it a vibrato, she sounds like a goat! Horrible!
Audra and Patti
Norm Lewis has absolutely brilliant enunciation, and the first time my mom heard him sing (on one of my CDs), she turned to me and said, "Who's that guy? He has great diction."
