All of my best Broadway memories are from this year since the beginning of 2008 was when I first got into Broadway. Some highlights:
*Gypsy – too many moments to name, just everything about it (especially the one experience of sitting front row)!
*Annaleigh’s last show in Wicked, especially “Popular” and “For Good”
*On-stage at Xanadu during Whoopi’s run
*Being so moved by Next to Normal
*going to The Broadway Flea Market for the first time
*getting my Gypsy poster signed by Patti LuPone as well as meeting some of my other favorite performers – so many stage door memories
When I was a little girl I used to watch reruns of Eight is Enough everyday after school. I loved that show to death and once my mom mentioned that the stepmother Abby had a beautiful voice. I never forgot that and it was always my dream to hear her sing. Several years later I saw Betty Buckley in Sunset Boulevard and it was just surreal to see someone I grew up watching live and in person.
Unexpectedly being able to see Wicked on the West End being from Virginia (on spring break). And of course my first Broadway show, Bernadette Peters in Annie Get Your Gun.

Seeing Superman right before entering the service. It cheered me up.
