OO I forgot one!
"Do I love You?" from Cinderella. I love that song!
Definitely "Happiness" from Passion and also "No One Has Ever Loved Me" from Passion. I adore that song.
Say It Somehow- Piazza
Something Good- Sound of Music (the film)
And really all R and H love scenes. I agree with you Best12Bars. They really do rule in that way.
EDIT- I just thought of "You are woman, I am man" from Funny Girl. I love that scene!
Say what you will, but...
"Don't Know Where You Leave Off" from SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS was incredibly romantic and sexy. A ravishing song, with a good lyric. Jack Noseworthy and Kelli O'Hara put it across brilliantly.
It's such a shame this show was not a success, it has some absolutely amazing parts (especially the score and some of the choreography). The show worked, for me. I know others felt it was incoherent and one-dimensional, bur I definently "got" what they were trying to do with the material. I look forward to hearing about the revised version in Chicago next year.
Quick story; I attended a preview performance and Ruthie Henshall happened to be sitting directly behind me and after fawning over her, we discussed the show and she I both concurred the show would be a big hit. Goes to show that even people in the industry can't always spot a flop.

"Say it Somehow" The Light in the Piazza
"Something Good" The Sound of Music
"I'll Cover You" Rent
"Tonight" West Side Story
"If I Loved You" Carousel
Say It Somehow
People Will Say We're in Love -- probably more romantic than "love scene," but I love it anyway
And what can I say? I was a sucker for Elaborate Lives.
I totally agree with you guys....nothing can beat the very emotional and sensual nude scene in "Passion" and "Something Good" from the film version of the "Sound of Music." Those are my top 2. I would also add to that "Sun and Moon" from Miss Saigon with Lea Salonga and Will Chase on her comeback in 1998.
I love "Don't Know Where You Leave Off"! I second that. I'm also a big fan of "Say it Somehow."
