I actually did have a playlist of songs to work out to. Not anymore though...but perhaps that will change.

I like to go running when I'm pissed off. I even have a special playlist. On it is....
And Then There Were None- SA
Don't Do Sadness-SA
BOL-SA
Totally F****d-SA
Wonderchild- Adam Pascal
Basically all the "rebel" Broadway songs I knew of.
I second 30/90 from Tick,Tick....Boom.
I also like "Moving Too Fast" and "I Can Do Better" from Last 5 Years to have a good beat for jogging.
I have lots of different playlists depending on my mood and what kind of work out I am doing.
For treadmill and huffy puffy I am currently listening to this -
"Good morning Baltimore"
"I'm alive" - Xanadu
"I want the good times back" - The Little Mermaid
"She's in love" - The Little Mermaid
"Suddenly" - The Little Mermaid
"You can't stop the beat" - Hairspray
"Defying gravity" - Wicked
"Xanadu" - Xanadu
"Poor thing" - Sweeney Todd OST
Just wanted to share something I did when I first started college and still do on occasion. I felt like everyone else knew so much more about musicals than I did, so I started going to the public library, getting whatever cast albums I could, putting them on my iPod, and then picking a different show to listen to every time I went to the gym.
Sure, certain things don't necessarily lend themselves to strenuous physical activity, but I discovered so many shows this way and now know a lot more in general.
Rent - RENT
30/90 - Tick, Tick, Boom
Some People - Gypsy
Prologue - Into the Woods
Bitch of Living - Spring Awakening
Most of the upbeat songs in Bombay Dreams
Want of a Nail - Camp
"Heavy, Heavy" and the "It's all over/Not Going" Sequences in Dreamgirls
I know the song has been suggested, but if you will actually go to your favorite online video hosting site (Gee, I wonder which one that would be!) and look up material on "You Can't Stop the Beat," you'll find that doing the actual choreography is a GREAT cardio workout when you can't get to the gym! Especially if you work some 5lb or 10lb weights during some of the chorus sections!
**I am not responsible if you fling your weights out the window or smack them against your head or drop them on your foot while you're dancing**
^I hardly think that warning was necessary, but I'm just covering my bases!
Cheers to a fit, healthy lifestyle!
EDIT:
I just had to say that "Holding Out for a Hero" is one of my FAVORITE workout songs!!! It makes me feel like i'm in an 80's movie montage! =P
