Is Elaine Stritch @ Liberty when she sang "No Business Like Show Business" and had the funny dialect in the middle of most of the phrases? If it was, it was hilarious!

Two come to mind, Brief Lives (based on the work of John Aubrey) performed by Roy Dotrice in the late 70's and Dame Edna Everage (Barry Humphries) The Royal Tour.

I know I replied earlier about Alone Together, but it got me to thinking. How about Hal Holbrooks' Mark Twain Tonight.. It was great

Orion,

Not to be difficult, but I doubt you can classify Master Class as a one-person show, considering it contained two Tony-winning performances (Audra Macdonald for Supporting Actress).

that's not being difficult Robbiej, that's just humiliating me publicly (just kidding).

When I think back on that show, I really don't remember anyone but Maria Callas portrayed so perfectly by Ms. Cauldwell. i relaize there were a couple of characters with small roles but I always think of it as a one person show.

Elaine Stritch at Liberty was fantastic!

I really would like to see Carol Channing if that comes to pass. Another person I would like to see in a solo show...Carol Burnett.
