So I'm going to see Sunday when I'm in town. There are a million places to site (love that Roundabout lets you choose your actual seat). I usually sit in the front row of the Mezannine but don't know if this is the best choice for the projections. Should I site on the floor (again, many choices) a few rows back or front row of the Mez?
Go with the mezz, you'll enjoy the visuals more-so.

Is the view still ok from the sides in the rear mezz? I just can't afford primo seats, but I don't think I want to chance it with TDF and possibly get a really awful view.
Thanks in advance.
I wouldn't see ANY show at studio 54 from the rear mez.

i saw sunday from the side rear mezz and loved every minute of it. saw 99.9% of everything. great seats if your on a budget
The rear mezz. has a fine view for Sunday, BUT it is extremely tight. I'm 6'4" so I literally had my knees in my chest. If you are any kind of tall, it's not worth sitting back there. It was so uncomfortable for me that it took away from the experience.

i had an aisle seat so it wasnt bad, but i have to agree with zoo in that aspect
I also had a rear mezz aisle seat, but I'm small as well. Still, it wasn't too bad.
So which of these two seats would be better?
Front row Orchestra AX-105
Front row Mezz AA-110
I've already seen the show from the Rear Mezz.
Mezz AA-110 would be 100 times better than AX which is the first row in the Orchestra, and I wouldn't recommend it for Sunday in the Park. But that is me, I don't enjoy being in the first 5 rows as I think it is too close for comfort. I.E. first row for Young Frankenstein.....
I've never sat in the orchestra at Studio 54, but I saw Sunday from the front mezz the first time and it was perfect. I'd be worried about having to crank your neck too much in the front row.
I'm seeing the show again on Wednesday from the rear mezz. I'm poor, but I HAD to see the show again before it closed. And it appears that there's a good amount of seats still available in the front mezz, so here's hoping that I can move down at some point...
I've sat front row center for Sunday and really enjoyed it. But then I like catching all the nuances of the actors' expressions up close. While I didn't have to crane my neck or anything, it did screw with the perspective of the painting itself, especially once the frame is in place.
In terms of the visuals of the show, I think front mezz center is the best. I wouldn't really sit on the sides coz that skews the perspective too.

One other thing to keep in mind: After they announced the last extension, Roundabout "opened" the various discount codes to all remaining seats, not just the sides and rear of each section.

I sat in front row orchestra side last Saturday night (got ticket from TKTS) and it was too close.
On Wednesday, I sat in the first row Mid mezz (EE 210-213) center. Good visibility and you can extend your legs under the railing. Two of our group were over 6'2" and were actually comfortable!
