I did not realize that.  Quite amazing.  Hopefully, some will be hits, where you can point directly to their contributions.

My choice would be “The Notebook”.  I was disappointed by “The Outsiders”.  Maybe my hopes were too high because it is such an iconic  book. I saw “The Notebook” the other day and it was exactly what I thought it would be…a little like a Hallmark production but pulled at the heartstrings and the story was well told. Sadly, I can’t say the same for “The Outsiders” .

Saw both last week and I would definitely go to The Outsiders in a minute before The Notebook, even if The Notebook’s ticket was free.

Having seen both on Broadway -- I would recommend The Notebook.
