I want to make a Best of 2005 Broadway Season mix CD (hold the loser jokes)for an upcoming long-ass car trip.

Any opinions on what I should include?

I don't know if you consider it part of the season since it was just one night, but the Actor's Fund Hair CD is my favorite recording of the year.

I agree with all of GavrocheGirl's selections plus several from Little Women ("Astonishing" and "Some Things Are Meant to Be" or maybe "Days of Plenty"). I like "Epiphany" and "I Believe" from Altar Boyz.

And I certainly can't make loser jokes. Thanks to your suggestion I am now making my own "Best of..." mix CD...

Did you ever get any tracks from the Sondheim celebration? I know they weren't WRITTEN or DEBUTED in 2005, but it was a pretty big Sondheim year. I would recommend:

Giants in the Sky - Michael Arden
Finishing the Hat - Neil Patrick Harris
A Little Priest - George Hearn & Angela Lansbury
Sunday - The Juliard Choir

And why am I the only one in LOVE with the title song from Piazza?! I would have that on it, and Dirty Rotten Number, The I Love You Song or Pandemonium, Some Things Are Meant to Be and anything off the Hair CD!
