Any advice for the best price/seat for this show tonight at 7:00? I just got in from CA and could get to TKTS or go directly to the theater with a broadwaybox discount code (orch side for $99). Show is in one hour!

TKTS is half price so that will be cheaper and you'll typically get pretty good seats. If good seats are available at the box office they've typically released pretty good seats to TKTS as well. Discount codes are usually only cheaper than TKTS for the seats that are cheaper to begin with (because TKTS are discounted from the highest price).
You can also ask at TKTS what they have available and if it's not good, you can go to the box office.

Thank you! Walked to TKTS and bought a center orchestra 7th row seat at 50% off (72 + fees). 3 seats in front of me were empty and so was the one on my left. Then after intermission, the person to the right of me didn't return (probably jet lagged as he was coming from Europe).
Incredible talent in this show! So glad I saw it even though I was dead tired and hungry!

Front row is not too close at all.
In fact, the closer you are - the better, in my opinion. The stage is very low, so that definitely won't be a problem. To watch Cynthia sing "I'm Here" that close is pretty incredible.
