Great suggestions on this thread and some I have not tried.
If you are near the Lincoln Center, I recommend Cafe Fiorello

Butter (the gnocchi Mac n cheese is a must). Danji which is really good Korean & Michelin recommended. There’s always Joe Allen and the Ribbon is fun (pricey though). Also Gotham West Market on 44th and 11th which has Counters from Seamores (seafood)and Dell’Anima (Italian) as well great ramen and pizza. Corner Bistro just opened there as well if you want good burgers. Theres a Meatball Shop on 9th around 50th as well.
