Posted: 6/20/04 at 9:09pmI would not say Hugh Jackman! Sutton Foster has a very awkward way of dancing, it was great for her role, but I'm not sure she'd go down as a great triple threat. I wondered if Kristin can dance, I know she can sing and act amazing, and I'm glad she can dance too. I agree with all the rest.

Now, now, Hugh's a good dancer, a pretty good singer, and we don't even have to TALK about his acting. Sounds like a triple threat to me!
I shold also mention Faith Prince and Debbie (Shapiro) Gravitte.

Posted: 6/20/04 at 9:46pmElphaba the Good, which she are you talking about? Hugh is an ok singer and dancer, but that's not a triple threat, certainly not the makings of a great one. I know he is a great actor, but the rest, he's not high up enough to be a great triple threat much less the best.

Posted: 6/20/04 at 9:51pmI know, it's just I always have a tendancy to say something stupid, no matter where or what I'm doing. I thought by going on a message board I could avoid that, but I still feel stupid. Well, since Hugh Jackman is a male, I was talking about Sutton *still feels stupid*

Posted: 6/20/04 at 9:59pmIt's not a matter of being stupid, it's a matter of not being clear. I would disagree with Sutton b/c I don't think she's a good enough dancer to be the best triple.

Posted: 6/21/04 at 1:34amHugh Jackman is a great actor and his dancing is good too but I tend to find his singing voice...nasal sounding.

Hugh Jackman I'd have to disagree. I don't know if his singing voice sounds different in the show but on the cd it turns me away. He's not a bad dancer, and an execlent actor, but singing I guess you can say he's good for the lack of training he's had. He got his first singing role by mimicing his vocal coach for Beauty and the Beast in Sydney.
I would deffinatly have to go with Ben Vereen and Chita Rivera

Lynne Thigpen was a dancer?
I wanted to also add Anita Morris, the original Carla in "Nine" who was also a fine comedianne on stage and in film and Andre DeShields, the great dancer and singer who's also a great dramatic actor (he played Willy Loman in Chicago).
