Anybody here planning to go to her concert at 54 Below March 6-9? Would love to hear a review.

She recently had a preview with the press of her upcoming concert and it was posted on youtube.

She sounds so good and looks like it's gonna be a great 54 Below debut. I can't believe she hasn't had a solo show before!

I'm going. Should be fun to see how she handles her first solo cabaret. Shoot some videos, hopefully with the flash not on.

Often it's more enjoyable and less expensive to see a young star in an intimate venue than to see him or her in a mediocre musical.

So much talent in New York and not enough places to showcase it all.

She's debuting this show here in Vegas tomorrow and Saturday. I wish I could be there.

How appealing she is. Thirty six years old and her resume is so short.

She seems a touch shy. That's probably the kiss of death in hyper-competitive New York.

Excited to see her next week! She's my favorite performer and while I don't think her resume is super short, I hope she gets more chances at leading roles soon. If another Into the Woods revival ever comes around, I can't decide if I'd rather see her play the Baker's Wife or the Witch haha.

Yeah I think her resume is impressive as is she. I dont think age enters into this and 36 to me is young and I’m sure she’ll have an even longer impressive resume ahead of her.

Oh, I was looking in the wrong place. It only had Broadway credits and didn't include Falsettos and Waitress.

She's done a lot out of town. Would have liked to see her in Boys from Syracuse.

I was a big Stevie Nicks fan, also. I had the VHS tape of her first solo concert tour that I like so much I found someone who had transferred the VHS to DVD.

I got a pretty good table so I could shoot some videos at proper range. 54 Below allows videos, with the proviso that you must not use the flash. So the first time I shot a video there I was new to the smartphone and my flash was on the whole time. And it was Matthew Morrison and Kelli O'Hara i had been shooting.

They didn't throw me out.

I'll be there on Friday! A bit bummed to be missing JRB and Jeremy, but that's life I guess! Will post a review here with all my thoughts!

I'm going tomorrow night. If I receive permission I'll take a couple of videos and probably upload them to YouTube. They have never refused before, and even when I with great embarrassment was told that my flash had been on (that phone was new to me) when I shot Matthew Morrison and Kelli O'Hara performing
"Say It Somehow" from Piazza they didn't me not to take videos, just to be sure the flash was off.

I saw the videos on YouTube of Betsy performing with the Skivvies at 54 Below. In addition to everything else, she has a deft touch for comedy.

my wallet is hurting so I may not be able to attend this. I have about an hour to figure everything out for tonight — online sales are done. Doesn’t look likely.. curious to what her set list is... all I’ve heard is “Landslide.” All Much appreciated!!

She was in incredible voice tonight and hilarious to boot. Would highly recommend going if you can!

Betsy very much entertained her audience last night, and was sent off to a big ovation. If not up to Audra or Kelli yet, she sings very well and is blonder.

Speaking of blonde, Betsy's pale and blonde head cost me facial detail that I had no answer for. My work with aspect rations probably needs some improvement as well.

If you watch only one, the duet with Jeremy is the best photographed and has some pre-song patter.

The policy of 54 Below as announced on stage prior to the show is "Photography allowed. No flash." During a number I did not record I saw five others recording it. However all were at the more expensive VIP or Ring Side tables where all one had to do was to hold the camera at chest level and point the rear at the stage.

That quick jerk to the left of the camera right after Betsy's opening number begins is me looking at the back of my camera to make sure that the flash was not on.

Betsy Wolfe returning to Broadway in 2022?

I didn’t want to start a new thread and this was the most recent thread I found relating to Betsy Wolfe….

Betsy recently shared a video to tiktok(she sounds gorgeous by the way) and teased a return to Broadway in the comments. I thought it was pretty exciting information. Anyone have any idea what she could be referring to?
My initial thought was Delia in Beetlejuice. But I can see her stepping into little shop off-Broadway as Audrey.
