Bette Midler IN Priscilla

i was thinking- wouldent it be fun if Bette joined the cast for the final performance of the show and played Shirley (I Love The Nightlife). i could totally see her being perfect in the role. it would be a cute cameo apperance. I know it's not going to happen but i think it would be really cool if it did.

I don't know if Bette would want to jiggle her gut at the audience. She seems to have some vanity. lol

Well, seems many here in South Florida are under the assumption that Bette Midler is IN the touring production simply because her name is featured on the artwork (yes, they've actually said this to me). Its an obvious producer credit but apparently these people aren't aware of that. I hope they aren't as upset as those who went to see THE COLOR PURPLE and Oprah Winfrey wasn't in it though her name WAS on the artwork.

Ha, or the lady who sat next to me at Sister Act who was disappointed that Whoopi Goldberg wasn't in it.
