Any chance this will extend past May 5th?

Don't know for sure, but as it's a pre-Broadway engagement, I would assume no.

Also, it doesn't sound like advance sales are doing extremely well. If it opens and gets good word of mouth, I'm sure sales will improve. But Broadway in Chicago was recently offering a 2 for 1 deal on certain dates, so I doubt that sales will pick up enough to demand an extension, even if it is well received when it opens.

Is there a link to that discount? I was looking at tickets yesterday and was surprised to see how expensive they were. I'm looking for the 2-for-1 thing but can't find it. Thanks!

Looked through my e-mail and I must have already deleted it. I did find one they recently sent for $20 off tickets.

Use the code STORY when ordering. Valid Sunday evening, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday performances through April 14th (not valid on premium or upper balcony seats).

Hope that helps!

Oh bummer. I wanted to go when my family is in town but it won't be til later in the month. I'll keep an eye out though. It probably has a good chance of popping up on HotTix, but ideally I want to have our plans for their visit nailed down sooner than the week of. Thanks! :)

The BIC offer originally was for only a day or two on the 2 for 1 tickets but go to Ticketmaster and the Big Fish location and put in the code SPRING and it is still being accepted today. (http://www.ticketmaster.com/Big-Fish-Chicago-tickets/artist/1781632?brand=bicartist&camefrom=CFC_BIC) MF seats are $42.50 (plus services fees of course). Normally without the code they would be $85.00. If you go to the box office and ask about the special SPRING code promotion hopefully they will still honor it at the window without extra fees except a $3.00 theatre fee. I have tix for April 4 which are MF 10th row right section and got them for $45.50. If the code stops functioning look for other offers on the BIC Facebook page or wait for Hottix which might sell a week at a time not just daily. Hope this helps.

Oh, boo. There's no field to enter the code for performances that far out yet. I liked the BiC Facebook page though.

They may still have this promotion again for later dates but I do think that the 2 for 1 promotion was only for the following dates:

April 2, April 3, April 4, April 5 and April 7.

I should have mentioned this earlier.

Sorry about that.

They may have $25 tickets available later via their $25 on the 25th monthly promotion but those tickets would be for performances between April 26 and May 5 only. That promotion runs on the 25th of the month only (meaning April 25 for the next one) and usually is only for rear balcony seats. Otherwise, Hottix is still your best bet on a week to week basis and those are usually rear main floor.

Thanks so much for the code, Jon. I will be in Chicago next week and wanted to go, but wasn't about to pay full price. Even the $20 offer didn't seem appropriately appealing, but I got the $42/56 seat. I will let y'all know how it is!

I have a chance to see this toward the end of its run so I will be very interested in hearing what earlier attendees think of it.

The show is on Hottix.org for discounts this week.
