I'm seeing Billy Elliot next week. I would like to know how the partial view orchestra seats are. My seats are in Row L and they are seats 24, 26, and 28. I got these as a gift, so please don't say..."you should of asked before you bought them." I had no control over where the seats were.

Thanks

I sat in row B on the right partial view and they were great. I have heard the farther back you sit partial view the better. You don't miss much at all. Enjoy the show!

Hi Guys!

My mom and I are seeing Billy Elliot for the first time on August 16th at 3. we purchased the $81.50 seats in the orchestra to save some cash. To be exact, we will be seating in row L in seats 24 and 26. We are aware that the seats are partial view, but I just wanted some opinions on the seats so I know what to expect. Thanks!

Since these are the EXACT seats the original poster asked about you have your answer.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I understand that these are the exact seats from that the original poster asked about, but an answer was never given in regards to these seats. CSonBroadway responded in regards to ROW B partial view.

From what I recall, they're fine. You miss some of the flying in the ballet and that's it (I think?)

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Well, the poster also mentioned the seats farther back tend to be better than the ones closer up front.

You don't really miss anything, especially that far back. Orch right PV seats are great.

I purchased a partial view seat in the second box, orchestra left. It wasn't bad at all. I did miss some of Billy's entry in the first scene as he sits against the left hand wall, especially the bit as he starts to sing while doing the balancing on one foot with Smallboy beside him, but apart from that I was fine. I did get to see Haydn Gwynne, a bit under the weather, take a large swallow from a glass of water (well, I presume it was water) she had stashed offstage before making an entrance. She was a bit under the weather, but was still out there performing.
