I know this is the Official 'Bad High School Productions on Youtube' thread, but I came across this school's production of Les Mis. Funny how different it is from the original school featured on this thread. For this high school it's actually pretty good!!!

Okay, TheatreFan, I guess you are one of the VERY few considering both times I have seen the show the audience was in histerics throughout the entire thing...

Rock of Ages Preshow Announcement

Hey! I was just wondering if anyone remembered it? I was trying to explain it to one of my friends interested in seeing the show and could only remember the bluetooth comment. Thanks!

Current Lottos

Jan 1, 2010 — 11:15:53 PM

Heading into the city tomorrow and I was wondering how the lotto's have been for Shrek, ROA, and Hair. It's only two of us and we would be happy with any of the stated shows. Just wondering how these three have been lately and what are chances are of winning. Thanks in advance.

re: John Cudia gives backstage tour at PHANTOM OF THE OPERA

I just find it odd that the "Associate SCENIC Designer" would be responsible to overlook the SM's calling of the show. Being a stage manager myself, I would think that the PSM would handle the situation rather than someone who was just involved with the scenic aspects of the show... sounds fishy to me

Tomorrow's Matinee

Seeing the show for the first time tomorrow afternoon! SOOO EXCITED But I was wondering, have any understudies been on lately? Or is anyone scheduled to be out tomorrow?

The new Billy Elliot love thread

Has Tessa Netting been in the show lately? Her twitter mentioned that she had a high fever and hates the "swine flu".

Just wanted some opinions from you guys. Do you really think that Billy Elliot is already stale and losing the energy and show quality that it had when it opened? I've heard and read this on various forums and it kinda disappoints me considering I'm seeing the show for the first time in two weeks What do you think?

re: Billy Elliot Partial View Seats

I understand that these are the exact seats from that the original poster asked about, but an answer was never given in regards to these seats. CSonBroadway responded in regards to ROW B partial view.

Hi Guys! My mom and I are seeing Billy Elliot for the first time on August 16th at 3. we purchased the $81.50 seats in the orchestra to save some cash. To be exact, we will be seating in row L in seats 24 and 26. We are aware that the seats are partial view, but I just wanted some opinions on the seats so I know what to expect. Thanks!

Hey Guys! Just bought tickets for my mom and I to see the show on August 16th, 2009 at 3:00 pm. We purchased House Right Partial View seating in Row L. Being the first time we are seeing the show, I am a little nervous about are seating choices. Are they good seats? Also, are Greg and Haydn contracted to be in the show through this date? What about Carole Shelley? Thanks!

re: Confirmed Tony Performances (spoilers)

Concerning Billy Elliot's performance, did they use a set at all? If not, what did the number look like without the house and didn't traps?

How did you get backstage Mamie??? I would love to get to see how everything works. Being a stage manager, I have shadowed various shows on Broadway but I think BETM would be a totally different experience. The lighting is fabulous!

re: Joe Biden At Billy Elliot 2/13

Feb 14, 2009 — 11:37:44 AM

David Larsen went on as Tony last night. He got huge applause at curtain call and actually really surprised me! I loved Santino in the role, but David really brought his A game and wasn't far behind. His chemistry with Greg was also incredible, and overall he impressed me. Grant Turner was on as Older Billy, and the only mistake I saw was when he accidently knocked over his chair during swan lake. Other than that he was fine.

Just curious... who was on as Michael last night (Thursday the 12th). I previousely saw David in the role and I would love to see him again! And as for Billy, if Tommy was on last night would David be on tonight?
