Last time I saw it, it ran 2 hours and 55 minutes. That was almost four weeks ago.

The show started at 8:02 on Friday and I was walking towards the exit at 10:56. So around 2 hours and 55 minutes. Closer to three hours. But also, when I went the intermission was not 15 minutes, maybe 11 or 12 which makes a big difference with the bathroom lines that form at that theatre.

I know these has nothing to do with the running time of the show, but I didn't want to create a new thread. I was just wondering if Billy Elliot had a show curtain? If so, what is it? Thanks alot! Im seeing the show this Saturday for the first time.

Since no one else jumped to answer your question Broadwaybuff, there is no curtain. When you walk in all you see is chairs lined on the sides on both sides of the stage.

Well, there is a scrim in front of the chairs, but I guess that really doesn't count.

A red curtain comes down at the end of act one and after the show (sort of like GYPSY).

In the beginning there's a black curtain that's see through, sort of what happens in Mary Poppins during the prologue.
