I love the show Blood Brothers. It ran for years in London and was nominated for a Best Musical Tony in 1993. Yet I never hear its music on the Broadway channel nor revivals.

It might be because the songs from Blood Brothers contain lots of dialogue throughout them and often serve to move the onstage action forward as opposed to typical storytelling-type showtunes which would stand alone better on the radio.
This show is such a guilty pleasure of mine. Got to see a very unknown Brian D’arcy James go on as Mickey when I saw it back in the 90’s. Surprised it isn’t done more. Would be a great show for City Center to add to their line-up. Especially along 90’s shows like Jelly’s Last Jam. Romance/Romance anyone?
