Its amazes me all this "its very british or "too British to understand etc"
How come we can sit through everything from Caroline or Change to Ragtime and have no problem, but slap a british accent and ANYTHING to do with our country it seems to be to hard to understand?

A young actress with Noel coward after a dreadful opening night performance said to him 'Well, i knew my lines backwards this morning!''
Noels fast reply was ''Yes dear, and thats exactly how you said them tonight'!'

Posted: 1/13/08 at 4:57pmI saw a small, local, dinner theatre production- with all Midwestern American actors, and couldn't stop crying for hours after- I thought it was amazing.

Posted: 1/14/08 at 12:18amCome on. Wicked had a huge advance, Blood Brothers had none to speak of. No courage required to keep Wicked going with a crew of producers. Kenwright did it all himself. No comparison.
