Bob Odenkirk-Billy Flynn?

As I’ve been binging Better Call Saul in anticipation of the finale, I had an odd idea. What if Bob Odenkirk did a brief run as Billy Flynn in Chicago? I feel like he could fit the character perfectly.

Just asked him (he lives 2 houses away from me here on the west coast) and he said he’d consider it if it were in L.A. but he ain’t doing no 3 months in NYC.

He'd be great with the book, but there's no indication that he can carry a tune, at all.

Dumbasses, he’s a comic actor so he’s being ridiculous here.  He CAN carry a tune.  He may not be a “singer” but this isn’t how he sings.  There are several videos on YouTube to prove this.
